ABSTRACT. This study reports on an exploratory investigation into selected practices of ‘leading’ Asian entrepreneurs in the U.K. Findings from interviews undertaken with 10 members of the Asian Eye-listed 100 richest Asians in the U.K. suggest that generalisations should not be made for all Asian-owned businesses. Moreover, opportunities may exist for new immigrant communities, but in a different way to that experienced by earlier generations of Asians: this accounts for their respective cultural experiences and practices.

SOMMAIRE.
